“Maschere in festa” di Massimiliano Precisi è un’opera monumentale che esplora la complessità dell’identità umana e il suo rapporto con l’ipocrisia. L’imponente tela di 220x260 cm è un vero carnevale visivo, popolato da una moltitudine di volti e figure deformi, ognuna delle quali sembra indossare una maschera diversa. L’opera, realizzata con tecnica mista, si caratterizza per un uso selvaggio e istintivo del colore, con tinte rosse, carne e nere che trasmettono tensione e disagio.

I personaggi, spesso con occhi multipli o tratti distorti, richiamano un’umanità frammentata e ambigua, priva di autenticità. La composizione appare volutamente caotica, quasi claustrofobica, in un’incessante sovrapposizione di forme che suggerisce la complessità dei rapporti umani. Precisi crea un’opera che è al contempo una celebrazione e una critica del teatro della vita, invitando lo spettatore a riflettere sulle maschere che indossiamo ogni giorno. Provocatoria, disturbante, irresistibile.
